Symbolics Technologies, LLC (New Hampshire) is a privately held company that owns the intellectual property of the former Symbolics, Inc. This includes the Genera operating system, its layered applications, and emulators for various hardware architectures. It also owns the intellectual property of the former Macsyma, Inc. and its mathematical modeling system.
The mission of Symbolics Technologies, LLC is to preserve, maintain, and develop these assets for the benefit of the Lisp programming community.
Symbolics Technologies, LLC is a wholly-own subsidiary of the WFA Group, LLC, which donates facilities and operating funds. Special thanks to Gary Palter who has written the emulators for x86 and ARM and maintained the software over the years.
